On a sunny morning, the team from DUA Trust set off with a simple yet powerful goal: to bring much-needed food and hygiene essentials to families facing daily struggles. The vehicle, loaded with freshly prepared meals and vital sanitary napkins, was on its way to make a difference in the community.
Arriving in Rajajipuram to Serve the Community
We reached a small community near E Block Puliya in Rajajipuram. As we made our way through narrow lanes, the homes, tightly packed together, told stories of hardship. Curious eyes peered out from the doorways, filled with hope. Our arrival marked the beginning of a meaningful day, one that would impact many lives in profound ways.
Distributing Meals and Hygiene Kits
At our first stop, volunteers quickly set up and began distributing hot meals to the families and children, a simple yet powerful gesture. The aroma of the freshly cooked rice and chole spread through the air, and before long, families lined up to receive their share. A father, with his three young children in tow, received a food packet and expressed his heartfelt gratitude: “This will last us for days. It means so much to us.”
